"Social Analytics for Lithium" by itD is a Microsoft Power BI solution template allow you to quickly and easily deploy enterprise ready Lithium social analytics dashboards and reports for your organization. These templates provide end to end solutions that can then be customized to meet your business needs, all within hours instead of weeks/months. Social Analytics for Lithium pulls historical and latest community boards, topics, posts and messages and pushes the data to Azure SQL Server using Lithium connector in Microsoft Azure functions, and the data will be processed in Azure SQL Server for fast data query and easy access to Power BI.

The “Social Analytics for Lithium” by itD solution template lets you gain insights about your community by looking at important metrics like total registered users, boards, topics, messages, solutions and kudos. The Power BI Reports provide the community growth in terms of number of users, messages and solution overtime, and analyse board and category level issues and solutions of the product.

Everything is installed in user Azure subscription, so the user can create data mashups using additional data sources or customize the Power BI reports to fit their own needs.

  • Use an intuitive wizard based UI to deploy, data integration and Power BI Reports.

  • Go back in history to do trend analysis to see your community growth.
  • Data will be pulled from Lithium V2 API’s called LiQL and Bulkdata API in Azure functions using user credentials (ClientID, ClientSecret, TenentID and Refresh Token).
  • Will be pushed to Azure SQL staging tables in Azure functions and call the stored procedure “SyncPowerBIData” to sync and merge the data from staging tables to dims and facts in same Azure SQL database.
  • Once the data refresh completes, the data will be available for Power BI reports for viewing.
